Student Achievement Support Specialist

- I coordinate the execution and administration of exams at the Testing Center, ensuring all procedures run smoothly. - I provide proctoring for computer-based and paper-and-pencil tests for students, including those needing accommodations. This includes administering various exams such as make-up tests, Placement tests, and others as required. - I maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment in the Testing Center. - I monitor student activity in the testing center for any instances of academic dishonesty and report any violations. - I assist students with accessing Brightspace and password resets. - I ensure that all testing programs are administered according to established guidelines to maintain security and that all users adhere to policies related to the use of computer equipment. - I create procedures manuals to enhance efficient workflows and optimal operations. - I coordinate special projects within the department and collaborate with other departments to align with the College's mission and vision. - I participate in College committees and events, promoting our values of customer service, diversity, respect, collaboration, and a positive culture. - I stay updated in my field by attending professional development courses and training sessions. - I generate reports on usage and other topics for the Dean of Student Services and Coordinator of e-Learning and Instructional Support. - I assist with room reservations, test proctors, and maintain comprehensive testing files for the seamless operation of the Testing Center. - I help students and faculty with computer issues, connectivity problems, and navigating Brightspace, and I support the Coordinator of e-Learning and Instructional Support with necessary administrative tasks.
