Requirements
Must:
- Active Top Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI
- At least six (6) years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing network solutions
- Proven experience in troubleshooting complex Local Area Network (LAN) issues and resolving Wide Area Network (WAN) problems
- Significant expertise with Cisco routing platforms, including Aggregation Services Routers (ASRs)
- Extensive knowledge of routing protocols and technologies, such as BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, GRE
- In-depth understanding of Layer 2 technologies, including STP, MST, and VLANs
- Experience providing Tier 3 support and issue resolution
- Background in network design and traffic engineering
- Capability to deliver senior-level engineering support
- Experience in a large enterprise environment
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Collect user network requirements employing various methodologies to produce essential documentation
- Install, maintain, and assess network and communications systems
- Diagnose and resolve intricate network challenges involving diverse protocols, topologies, and hardware
- Conduct network architecture design, feasibility studies, and cost analyses
- Leverage comprehensive knowledge of networking, routers, switches, firewalls, and peripherals to enhance current designs
- Utilize technical and business acumen to refine processes for network infrastructure deployment and maintenance
- Collaborate independently and with a team to enhance network solutions and contribute to service improvements
