We are seeking a candidate with over 7 years of experience in the financial services sector, specifically someone who has owned and managed a product P&L, ideally in the realm of retail lending. You should have demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams within dynamic, high-growth environments. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field is required, with an MBA being preferred. We value a data-driven and inquisitive mindset, along with the capability to translate strategy into actionable plans across various stakeholders and departments. A strong financial acumen is essential, including experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and managing P&L. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record in leading projects, resolving complex challenges, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
In the role of Senior Product Manager for Installment Loans, you will be responsible for defining the product strategy and creating a strategic roadmap. You will assess customer needs and utilize market insights to guide ongoing product innovation and development. It will be your task to evaluate current offerings and identify areas for enhancement to boost competitiveness, customer experience, and revenue. You will prioritize product features and initiatives in line with strategic goals and market opportunities. Additionally, you will manage the revenue, expenses, and profitability targets for the product portfolio, ensuring that financial performance aligns with overall business objectives. You’ll monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product portfolio, identifying potential opportunities and risks, while employing strategies for risk mitigation and loss reduction. Leveraging analytics, you will work to improve underwriting processes, decrease default rates, and increase the volume of high-quality loans. Furthermore, you will collaborate with marketing and digital teams to enhance the customer journey through acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies, while ensuring that products comply with regulatory requirements.
