Requirements
Must:
To be considered for the Engineering Analyst - Computational Methods position, we require:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in code development, with knowledge in selecting and using efficient methods, classes, and data structures.
- At least 2 years of experience writing code for scientific or engineering analysis applications.
- Familiarity with code version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
- A robust working understanding of first principles in fields like linear regression, discrete math, continuous functions, and Fourier analysis.
- A Bachelor's degree in physics, applied mathematics, or engineering (aerospace, mechanical, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering) is mandatory; a Master's degree in one of these fields is highly desired.
- Active TS clearance is required for consideration.
- U.S. Citizenship is necessary, and occasional travel may be required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will function as a mid-level analyst/coder, performing data analysis and developing new data analysis tools to support our customer EO/IR Programs. Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Conducting data analysis using government-generated tools.
- Developing code to enhance existing analysis tools and to create new tools as necessary.
- Demonstrating a willingness to learn new subject matter and adapt your approaches regularly, while coordinating with a dynamic team of engineers and military personnel.
- Collaborating effectively in a team environment as well as working independently when needed.
