Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 5 years of experience as a Senior Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficiency with Couchbase N1QL, XDCR, and Oracle Dataguard
- Experience in performing remote site Root Cause Analysis
- Familiarity with live Couchbase Clusters operating on Linux, EDB Postgres Advanced Server, and Oracle Enterprise Edition
- Background in maintenance activities within Virtual Machines and On-Premises Environments
- Willingness to travel nationally and locally to various client sites within the U.S. 2-4 times annually
Responsibilities
- Monitor production database metrics utilizing Couchbase N1QL, XDCR, and Oracle Dataguard
- Execute remote site Root Cause Analysis to swiftly resolve urgent outages and issues
- Collaborate with clients on the upgrade roadmap for Systems and Mobileum Products using live Couchbase Clusters
- Conduct maintenance activities in Virtual Machines and On-Premises Environments to minimize database service disruptions
- Undertake national and local travel to unanticipated client worksites as required
