Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in network engineering
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS, NXOS, and ACI
- Expertise in L2/L3 Switch Technologies
- Familiarity with Cisco NCS DWDM (NCS 2000/4000 series)
- Solid understanding of DNS
- Experience with VMware and OpenShift Virtualization
- Knowledge of SDN Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Visio and Excel
- Familiarity with SharePoint
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Data Center LAN projects
- Collaborate with Server Hosting, Mainframe, and Storage teams to assess network connectivity needs
- Ensure adherence to Data Center standards in all designs
- Create logical and physical network designs in line with approved standards
- Consult with the Network Engineering team when customer needs deviate from established standards
- Coordinate with Data Center Facilities to secure space and power requirements
- Maintain a bill of materials for network infrastructure
- Manage the procurement process for networking hardware and cabling
- Approve orders according to established purchasing policies
