Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field of study
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience managing projects with shifting priorities and stringent deadlines
- Proven track record of overseeing projects from inception to completion with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in one or more core ERP languages
- Familiarity with two or more additional programming languages from core ERP systems or client/server-web systems
- Working knowledge of other programming languages considered a plus
- Experience with one or more core ERP system databases
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems and familiarity with at least two modules from the Application Systems section
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capacity to cultivate trust and maintain relationships with a diverse group of clients and team members
- Ability to lead projects effectively and provide formal updates to management
- Willingness to participate in an on-call support rotation as required
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews to assess business needs and propose automation and efficiency improvements
- Analyze complex workflows and recommend enhancements for quality
- Create system specifications for intricate applications and database designs
- Write code according to system specifications; develop testing strategies and deploy software applications based on requirements
- Launch applications and systems into production while providing necessary ongoing support
- Collaborate on the development of quality assurance procedures and standards
- Document technical specifications, applications, and user manuals
- Monitor system performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions
- Troubleshoot application issues and suggest resolutions
- Act as a liaison by communicating effectively with staff to enhance software application efficiency and functionality
- Continuously enhance our technology expertise
- Assist Information Systems Management with special projects as required
