Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in Systems Engineering, focusing on requirements engineering, system architecture, and trade-off analysis
- Proficiency in risk management and validation/verification processes within regulated environments
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or a comparable technical discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience (or a Masters degree with 2 years, or a PhD)
- Background in the medical device or in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) sector, particularly with FDA and ISO standards
- Knowledge of regulatory environments, including familiarity with FDA, ISO, and diagnostic product standards
Responsibilities
- Conduct front-end Systems Engineering design and development, particularly around requirements, risk assessments, and architectural considerations
- Collaborate independently and cross-functionally with diverse stakeholder groups to collect their needs and conduct trade-off analyses
- Utilize expertise gained from prior experience in the regulated medical device field to inform design and development processes
