Staff Data Engineer - Data Platform

- Serve as a subject matter expert and thought leader within the Data Platform Domain - Lead data strategy by defining advanced structures for data movement, storage, and maintenance of high-quality data - Oversee project management by scheduling timelines, coordinating team efforts, and communicating project statuses - Ensure compliance with governance standards, aligning data practices with evolving industry requirements - Contribute to the vision and strategy for data engineering, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives - Establish visionary goals and advise on strategic plans to deliver transformative outcomes - Expand our Data Warehouse(s) and Lakehouse solutions tailored for healthcare - Configure and maintain unity catalog for enterprise data lineage, quality, auditability, and stewardship - Develop and enforce Data Security protocols, ensuring the management of PHI/PII solutions - Implement an access management policy based on least privilege principles - Create data solutions for clients that adhere to high standards of reliability, quality, and performance - Architect, build, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines, ensuring performance monitoring and optimization - Drive API development for effective data integration between various systems - Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of efficient data models for structured and unstructured data - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver meaningful and valuable data solutions - Identify and implement internal process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and scalability
