Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of relevant experience with at least 3 years of hands-on AWS expertise
- Strong familiarity with Okta, including SSO/SAML/OIDC setup and adaptive MFA
- Extensive knowledge of AWS IAM, including role/permission boundary design and session management
- In-depth understanding of API security practices such as OAuth2/OIDC
- Proficient in Terraform and Git-based CI/CD practices
- Experience with cloud security monitoring tools like CloudTrail and GuardDuty
- Capability in scripting and automation using a modern programming language/framework
- Solid understanding of data protection and secrets management using AWS technologies
Responsibilities
- Enhance, monitor, and maintain our Information Security Program
- Implement security initiatives related to our infrastructure, products, and data
- Participate in strategic planning for security efforts, suggesting improvements and recommendations
- Collaborate with application and cloud engineering teams to bolster security of product features
- Design and execute security controls for application and data protection
- Monitor and react to security incidents and breaches promptly
- Partner with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software lifecycle
- Swiftly identify and respond to emerging security threats
- Continually evaluate and report on security threats and preparedness
- Aid in ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards
