Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of experience in machine learning engineering, GenAI, and data science within healthcare, insurance, clinical trials, or similar sectors.
- Proficient in managing full life cycle projects in machine learning and data science, from identifying client needs to validation and implementation.
- Strong ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with additional programming languages such as R and PySpark.
- Capable of understanding and interpreting other programming languages like C# and Rust.
- Expertise in cloud-based analytics and distributed computing, particularly with Databricks.
- Skilled in transforming on-premise applications to cloud-capable solutions.
- Experience in creating CI/CD processes using GitHub and Infrastructure as Code technologies like Terraform.
- Knowledge of APIs and AWS Cloud Services including Lambda, Step Functions, and AWS Batch.
- Strong programming skills in debugging, package development, dependency management, and testing.
- Understanding of creating diverse inference solutions for both single and batch scoring.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full development, deployment, and maintenance processes for AI systems and applications, ensuring effective integration with IT and Product teams.
- Work closely with the Product Owner for Models as a Service, AI architect, and other stakeholders to synchronize technical and product goals.
- Provide expert knowledge in AI/ML engineering and data science, focusing on the selection and refinement of frameworks and tools.
- Develop MLOps, LLMOps, and AIOps solutions across the organization.
- Act as an ML Engineer with advanced capability to turn innovative product features from concept into reality.
- Conduct peer reviews and audits of team members models and code to uphold high-quality standards and drive continuous improvement.
