Requirements
Must:
- 2-5+ years of proven experience in a Scrum Master position
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Scrum methodologies
- Proficiency in sprint planning, facilitating daily standups, conducting Scrum ceremonies, and backlog grooming
- Prior background with Agile tools, technologies, and experience on an Agile team
- Verified experience in delivering projects aligned with organizational objectives
- Excellent communication skills with a strong interest in problem-solving and managing challenges
- Demonstrated capability in stakeholder management and influencing leadership through effective communication and conflict resolution
- Ability to actively listen and mediate discussions to resolve conflicts and achieve consensus
- Skilled in prioritizing and executing tasks efficiently
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Remove obstacles to progress and ensure adherence to Agile principles and best practices
- Track team capacity and velocity, collaborating through ART syncs, backlog refinement, PI planning, and team stand-ups within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Ensure that team members comprehend project goals, emphasizing cross-functional accountability, teamwork, and iterative progress towards defined targets
- Provide coaching and strategic guidance on Agile principles for both the development team and product owners
- Share knowledge on best practices and strategies to enhance product delivery across teams
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and activities for multiple teams to support organizational delivery
- Identify and address any external dependencies, risks, and impediments
