Requirements

Must:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Desktop Support at Tier 2 levels - Proficient in macOS and Microsoft Windows operating systems - Skilled in diagnostics and command-line troubleshooting - Experience with Desktop Imaging and MDM tools such as Intune, SmartImager, Imperious, and SmartDeploy - Extensive knowledge of Personal Computer Hardware, PDA devices, and Desktop Software - Proficiency in Windows 10, Office 365, Microsoft Office products, OSX, and G-Suite support and administration - Strong interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with customer employees, executives, and VIPs - Leadership capability to support the technical growth of the Desktop team - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work setting - Capable of diagnosing and resolving intricate technical issues - Professionalism in high-pressure and significant-impact scenarios - CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification preferred; MCSE: Desktop Infrastructure and CCNA a plus - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Comfort and competence in engaging with executive-level internal employees - Strong willingness to learn new technologies and apply them in a client-facing capacity - Understanding of standard engineering principles and practices - Creative problem-solving skills - Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously under time constraints - Willingness to travel to client locations for installations, troubleshooting, user training, and relationship management

Responsibilities

- Provide onsite support for desktop and laptop technology at client locations - Manage hardware and software installation projects from planning through implementation - Analyze, test, and troubleshoot compute device systems - Customize systems to meet specific functional areas or unique user requirements - Deliver support for desktop/laptop break/fix, re-imaging, and troubleshooting issues - Provide assistance for various operating systems and applications, including MAC OS, Windows, iOS, and Android - Collaborate with IT Infrastructure teams to maintain and enhance existing infrastructure environments - Conduct user training and educational sessions - Perform re-imaging with data transfer as needed - Manage new hardware delivery and setup - Install and troubleshoot printers - Diagnose issues and develop resolutions - Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and effective management of client relationships - Report status, resource needs, and projected outcomes to customers and management - Mentor junior IT Specialists, sharing knowledge on processes and tools - Oversee project management tasks as required
