Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A Real ID or federally accepted identification for U.S. travel.
- Minimum of 1 year of general work experience.
- Basic understanding or hands-on experience with computer hardware and repair.
- Willingness and ability to travel to supported data center locations.
- Quick learner with adaptability to new software and tools.
- Strong verbal and written professional communication skills.
- Self-motivated with keen attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
- Capable of safely lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk long distances throughout the day.
- Willingness to work in environments that may include hot aisles and indoor areas exceeding 90 degrees Fahrenheit during certain times of the year.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Data Center Leads to facilitate the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers and networking equipment.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the ticket management process and assist in achieving timely issue resolution.
- Learn and implement diagnostic techniques to effectively troubleshoot data center equipment.
- Accurately manage inventory following established documented procedures.
- Work collaboratively across teams to maintain precise inventory systems.
- Acquire skills in server repair methods, including the replacement of hard drives, RAM, motherboards, and various other components.
- Assist with physical tasks such as relocating and racking equipment for special projects.
- Execute additional duties as assigned by management to support operational objectives.
