Requirements

Must:
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration or infrastructure engineering, ideally in an MSP setting. - Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and/or AWS cloud services. - Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN configurations. - Relevant industry certifications such as AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), CompTIA Security+, or Cisco CCNA are strongly preferred. - Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system failures under pressure. - Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical business owners with understanding and empathy.

Responsibilities

- Architect and deploy scalable cloud environments (public, private, and hybrid) using Microsoft Azure and AWS. - Lead client migrations from on-premises hardware to cloud platforms, ensuring no data loss and minimal downtime. - Conduct regular maintenance, patching, and performance tuning for virtual desktops (VDI), server clusters, and network storage. - Implement and oversee advanced security protocols, including Managed Detection and Response (MDR), SIEM, and firewalls to safeguard client data. - Develop and test business continuity plans and backup solutions (like Azure Backup) for quick recovery from potential disasters. - Serve as a senior technical resource for our helpdesk team, resolving intricate Tier 3 networking and infrastructure challenges. - Collaborate with our Director of Engineering to provide clients with technical roadmaps and infrastructure evaluations.
