Requirements
Must:
- Experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration
- Proficient in Windows operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills for computer hardware and software
- Basic understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, connectivity)
- Capable of diagnosing and resolving issues promptly
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to function effectively in a secure, government-regulated setting
- Reliable transportation
- Professional and detail-oriented demeanor
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance for hardware, software, and network systems
- Troubleshoot and fix IT issues in real-time, including hardware, software, and connectivity problems
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and secure networks
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control (preferably Active Directory)
- Conduct system updates, patches, and preventive maintenance
- Monitor and maintain network performance, security protocols, and data protection
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including system setup and access control
- Document problems and solutions while maintaining accurate IT records
