Requirements
Must:
- We have proven experience working as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
- We bring strong technical expertise in data models, database design and development, data mining, and segmentation methods.
- We have solid hands-on knowledge of reporting tools such as Business Objects, databases such as SQL, and programming or ETL technologies such as XML and JavaScript.
- We are proficient in statistics and have experience using analytical software such as Excel, SPSS, or SAS to evaluate datasets.
- We prefer candidates with service writing experience of 1 year.
- We prefer candidates with mechanical knowledge of 2 years.
- A valid drivers license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- We interpret data, assess results using statistical methods, and deliver ongoing reports.
- We develop and maintain databases, data collection systems, and analytics processes that improve efficiency and data quality.
- We gather data from primary and secondary sources and keep databases and data systems up to date.
- We identify, examine, and explain trends and patterns in complex datasets.
- We clean and validate data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to uncover and correct issues.
- We partner with management to determine and prioritize business and information needs.
- We identify opportunities to improve processes and support operational enhancements.
Description
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $105,000 per year, along with a benefits package that includes 401(k), dental insurance, life insurance, paid time off, relocation assistance, a retirement plan, and vision insurance. This role is offered in a hybrid remote setup based in Waterloo, IA 50703, and we are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can help us turn data into meaningful business insights and process improvements.
