Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing embedded software
- Ability to work directly with target hardware, utilizing lab bench equipment and debugging tools
- Proficiency in C programming language
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail with organizational and results-oriented skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with critical thinking and prioritization
- Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded C software for microcontroller-based systems
- Research new components, technologies, and methodologies for innovative designs
- Create tools to aid manufacturing, calibration, and verification of safety-critical products
- Assemble and troubleshoot hardware, including basic soldering and operating test equipment
- Prototype and execute testing programs to ensure compliance with performance and regulatory standards
- Document designs in required formats such as BOMs, ECOs, and work instructions
