Requirements

Must:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or a related discipline. - At least 2 years of experience in embedded software design. - Proficiency in C programming. - Capability to interact directly with target hardware in a laboratory setting, utilizing benches and debugging tools. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. - Strong attention to detail and meticulousness. - Organized, focused, and results-driven. - Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and prioritization abilities. - Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. We would prefer if you have: - Experience in developing safety-critical software following RTCA DO-178C, DO-254, or similar standards. - Knowledge of C# for PC application software development. - Experience in VHDL programming. - Familiarity with Design for Manufacture and Design for Test methodologies. - Background in designing or troubleshooting PCB system hardware.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement embedded C software for microcontroller-based systems and VHDL firmware for FPGA-based systems. - Investigate new components, technologies, and methodologies to integrate into new designs. - Create tools that support the manufacturing, calibration, and verification of safety-critical products. - Construct and troubleshoot hardware, including basic soldering and the use of testing equipment in both office and lab environments. - Prototype and run test programs to ensure adherence to performance, regulatory, and quality standards. - Document designs in required formats, such as BOMs, ECOs, and work instructions.
