Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 3+ years of technical engineering experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python is preferred.
- OR Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 5+ years of technical engineering experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python is also preferred.
- Familiarity with unit testing, continuous integration, and test-driven development is advantageous.
- Experience in optimizing high-scalability systems is a plus.
- Exposure to Service Fabric or Kubernetes is favorable.
- Proven ability in delivering large-scale services with coding expertise in at least one of the following languages: Typescript, C#, .NET Core, Java.
- Strong problem-solving skills along with collaboration abilities across diverse teams.

Responsibilities
- As a member of the AI Services engineering team, you will design, develop, and maintain high-scale services that are fundamental to Microsoft Teams.
- Utilize advanced techniques in deep learning, natural language processing, and conversational AI to enhance the AI functionalities of Microsoft Teams.
- Innovate, prototype, and assess new concepts and methodologies for AI-driven messaging features.
- Collaborate closely with other AI teams throughout Microsoft to adopt and share best practices and resources.
- Engage deeply with Azure technologies and distributed database systems, working with internal and external partners to design and develop features that accelerate user base growth.
- Prioritize availability, reliability, performance, and scalability while crafting features that exceed customer expectations.
- Create reusable libraries of service best practices for use by other teams.
