Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2 years of technical engineering experience with proficiency in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with peers and partner teams to achieve shared engineering objectives
- Strong skills in coding, debugging, algorithm design, and problem-solving
- Experience with cloud-scale services and server/service management functionalities
- Quick learner who can swiftly adapt to new systems and methodologies
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements
- Preferred: Masters degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field, or 3+ years technical engineering experience in the specified coding languages, or a Bachelors degree with 5+ years of related experience
- Familiarity with cloud-scale infrastructure and secure software design concepts
- Track record of successfully delivering complex projects with multiple components
- Enthusiasm for collaborating across multiple engineering teams to achieve business goals

- Work on large-scale distributed systems that are essential for users globally
- Design and implement services that manage vast data stores and enhance file and site browsing and editing performance
- Explore opportunities that span from customer interface features to core system logic and extensive storage solutions
- Collaborate with a world-class engineering team to support your efforts
- Contribute to and help cultivate the inclusive engineering culture within OneDrive and SharePoint
- Engage in thorough, data-informed design processes for product enhancements
- Write high-quality, efficient code along with comprehensive testing protocols
- Utilize metrics and telemetry to maintain an understanding of service operations
- Deliver features that cater to hundreds of millions of users worldwide
