Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent professional experience.
- Capability to pass Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements for this position, including the Microsoft Cloud background check.
- Preferred: Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 3+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR a Bachelors Degree in the same fields with 5+ years of relevant coding experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing projects with multiple engineers.
- Familiarity with building cloud-scale infrastructure components and designing cloud-scale services.
- Experience with cloud-scale distributed design and secure software design concepts.
- Proven ability to deliver multi-component projects.
- Strong ability to collaborate across various engineering teams to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement systems that facilitate partners and independent software vendors (ISVs) in migrating from other cloud service providers.
- Enhance core system performance and efficiencies while guaranteeing zero impact to customers during change management cycles.
- Develop systems that support our business continuity goals, provide telemetry for service optimization, and reduce response time for service issue detection and resolution.
- Serve as an embodiment of Microsoft culture and values in all team interactions.
