Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of relevant technical engineering experience in coding with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Preference for a Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field, or a Bachelors degree with 5+ years of experience
- Demonstrated experience in C# and .NET development for high-performance backend services
- Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts, large language models, or prompt engineering

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using modern C# and .NET frameworks to support generative AI features on a large scale
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify user requirements for backend systems and contribute to the creation of design documents with minimal supervision
- Engage in prompt engineering and tuning to improve the output of large language models for search and answer generation
- Break down larger tasks into smaller, manageable items, provide estimates, and facilitate the planning and execution of new feature areas
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) on-call to monitor system performance and to manage service restoration for simple issues
- Stay current with advancements in distributed systems, AI/ML technologies, and cloud services to enhance product availability, reliability, efficiency, and performance
