Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with at least 2 years of hands-on coding experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: Masters degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with a minimum of 3 years coding experience, or a Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of technical experience in the same languages.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in service development, successfully launching services across multiple releases.
- Familiarity with creating AI-centered experiences or conducting experiments to assess AI efficiency in enhancing products.
- Demonstrated experience in building scalable applications and services on Azure or similar cloud platforms focusing on performance, reliability, monitoring, and security.
- Ability to comply with Microsoft and governmental security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hiring and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather and define user requirements for various features.
- Contribute to identifying project dependencies and drafting design documentation for designated product areas with minimal oversight.
- Develop and implement code for products, services, or specific features, reusing code where appropriate.
- Assist in breaking larger projects into manageable tasks and providing accurate estimates.
- Serve as the Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), monitoring system and product features for any degradation, downtime, or interruptions, and obtaining approval to restore services for simple issues.
- Leverage intelligence from algorithm training to enhance deployments, seeking data analysis systems to improve models, and validate these models in real-world applications through iterative processes.
- Keep skills updated by engaging in continuous learning about advancements that can elevate the availability, reliability, efficiency, and performance of products while promoting consistency in large-scale monitoring and operations.
