Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and at least 2 years of hands-on engineering experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Must possess or be able to obtain an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
- Proven track record in software development, particularly in distributed systems and scalable services
- Strong collaborative skills to establish technical partnerships within engineering teams

Responsibilities
- Design and implement software improvements based on best practices in software development and system architecture
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure stability, reliability, and optimal performance of services
- Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring standards are met and providing constructive feedback to fellow engineers
- Identify root causes of software issues and develop solutions to prevent recurrence
- Engage with team members and stakeholders to understand user requirements and incorporate feedback into software designs
- Develop comprehensive test strategies to ensure software quality and prevent regressions
- Maintain operational integrity of live services, addressing issues and implementing documentation to support on-call troubleshooting
- Contribute to architectural discussions and provide input on design documentation for product features
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies and practices to improve software development processes
