Requirements
Must:
- Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline AND at least 1 year of technical engineering experience
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field AND a minimum of 4 years of technical engineering experience
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related area AND at least 5 years of technical engineering experience
- Equivalent practical experience in relevant fields
- Ability to meet Microsofts, customers, and/or government security screening prerequisites
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience in developing integrated circuits (including pre-silicon and new product introduction)
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience in product and test engineering, focusing on System Level Testing
- Familiarity with system-level testing for CPUs, GPUs, or high-performance computing products
- Knowledge of system-level testing architecture and infrastructure requirements
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Understanding of product manufacturing and testing processes
- Knowledge of system hardware, software, and firmware
- Competency in reading board level schematics
- Proficiency in software programming with languages such as C#, Python, or C/C++
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of system-level test (SLT) strategies, requirements, tools, and methodologies for hardware and software
- Collaborate with team members and external partners to create and integrate hardware, firmware, content, and automation solutions for the SLT platform
- Conduct product characterization and correlate power/performance from systems to Automatic Test Equipment (ATE)
- Optimize outgoing quality and power/performance by generating and utilizing correlation and characterization data
- Define and contribute to developing the software automation infrastructure for SLT and system-to-tester correlation activities
- Oversee multiple development activities across various product lines
- Perform system-level failure analysis and debugging across silicon, hardware, and software
