Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR an equivalent combination of experience and education
- Must be able to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements for this role, including the maintenance of an active TS/SCI clearance (with polygraph)
- Experience in a leadership capacity, guiding diverse engineering teams
- Familiarity with cloud security solutions and cyber threat management
- Understanding of Kubernetes and its related technologies
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language with a knowledge of transitioning solutions into managed code
- Background in big data platforms and development, including experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Experience in data mining or data science using relational database technologies
- Knowledge in development and deployment within cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse engineering team in delivering exceptional services under pressure
- Collaborate intensively with engineering and research teams to ensure system stability and performance excellence
- Provide technical direction for the team managing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint in Sovereign Clouds
- Cultivate a culture of curiosity, learning, and data-driven decision-making in a dynamic technical landscape
- Maintain a strong focus on customer needs and a solid grasp of cloud design principles to counteract cyber threats
- Ensure operational excellence through live site support and involvement in a 24/7 incident management framework
- Propel continuous innovation in cloud security solutions while utilizing advanced technologies to safeguard sensitive government environments
