Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Alternatively, equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Over 8 years of software development experience, with significant input in or leading architectural design
- Proficient in AOSP security features including device integrity, cryptography, Keymint, and Keystore
- Expertise in mechanisms for device integrity, key attestation processes, key provisioning strategies, and management of trusted applications in AOSP
- Capacity to develop and manage trusted applications functioning within a TEE
- Skilled in designing and creating secure solutions meeting industry standards and best practices
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex software and security challenges
- Leadership capabilities to direct a team in developing secure software solutions
- Effective communication skills, with a history of representing security technologies to customers and device manufacturers
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and sustain AOSP security features, applications, and frameworks using Java, Kotlin, C/C++, and other relevant technologies
- Collaborate with drivers, tools, Linux Kernel, trusted applications, AOSP Framework, and AOSP services
- Work alongside developers, testers, product managers, and security specialists to guarantee the quality, performance, and security of the AOSP platform and applications
- Research and integrate the latest best practices, standards, and technologies in AOSP development
- Diagnose, debug, and resolve security issues and vulnerabilities in AOSP applications and systems
- Represent our Microsoft MDEP team in various platforms with partners, offering leading-edge technical guidance
- Engage in code evaluations to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team
- Demonstrate exceptional communication abilities to clearly articulate technical designs, implementations, and issues
- Stay informed on the latest updates for the AOSP operating system, security trends, and industry best practices
