Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with at least 4 years of technical engineering experience in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Alternatively, equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with distributed systems, client-server architecture, and distributed database technologies including .NET Core, Redis, or Azure Cosmos DB or similar.
- Ability to fulfill Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening criteria necessary for this role, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hiring and every two years afterward.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale services that support the Teams AI Platform.
- Deeply engage with Azure technologies and distributed database systems.
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to develop features that enhance user growth and engagement.
- Create features that exceed customer expectations while adhering to the utmost standards for availability, reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Influence and define innovative designs, architectures, standards, and reusable service libraries to enable scalable development across Microsoft.
- Partner closely with AI teams within Microsoft to promote best practices, align strategies, and utilize shared infrastructure and research.
- Actively pursue new knowledge and adapt to emerging trends, technical solutions, and methodologies that enhance the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while ensuring consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
