Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python - OR equivalent professional experience - 4+ years of experience in developing and deploying native or React Native applications - Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening criteria for this position, including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check during hiring and bi-annually thereafter - Preferred: Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience in programming, OR a Bachelors Degree AND 8+ years of relevant experience - Experience in integrating React and React Native with native Windows components, including familiarity with reading and debugging shared C++ libraries - Knowledge of integrating large-scale services within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including identity management and Microsoft Graph APIs - Experience with automated testing and release processes for Windows applications, including unit and UI testing - Previous experience in delivering polished user experiences on Windows or across multiple platforms is advantageous - 4+ years of demonstrated ownership of features, effectively navigating different disciplines and technologies to achieve exceptional user experiences - 4+ years of effective collaboration and communication within engineering, design, and product teams - 4+ years of experience with React Native development

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy user-facing features for Windows utilizing React and React Native, prioritizing AI-enhanced experiences that incorporate Copilot functionalities - Take full ownership of features, overseeing UI design, service integration, authentication processes, performance tracking, and quality assurance - Create robust client-side AI interactions, including streaming UX, error handling, and optimizing for latency and bandwidth to ensure dependable experiences in real-world use cases - Collaborate across various disciplines and codebases, integrating with native Windows components and extending UX in C++ when necessary - Uphold a high standard of engineering through code evaluations, automated testing, accessibility considerations, and security measures, with a strong focus on user experience quality - Utilize telemetry data, perform A/B testing, and maintain on-call responsibilities to establish success metrics, identify regressions, and enhance reliability and performance on a larger scale - Mentor teammates by sharing best practices in React and React Native UX development, fostering a culture of excellence and creating reusable components to accelerate team productivity - Embody our organizational culture and values
