Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline AND at least 4 years of technical engineering experience with programming in languages including C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is mandatory for this position.
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience OR a Bachelors Degree with 8+ years of experience in relevant programming languages is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in C# and .NET development for high-performance, scalable backend services.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, or large-scale cloud-native development.
- At least 2 years of experience with AI/ML systems, large language models, or prompt engineering in production settings.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with React or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in developing large language model-driven Generative Search projects, including prototyping, developing, and deploying these initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define user requirements for various scenarios.
- Lead the identification of dependencies and create design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
- Mentor team members by setting a standard for producing extensible and maintainable code across products.
- Serve as the Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), guiding engineers across various products and solutions while monitoring systems for any degradation, downtime, or disruptions.
- Continuously seek new knowledge and adapt to emerging trends, technical solutions, and methodologies that enhance the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products, while ensuring consistency in monitoring and operations at scale, and share insights with fellow engineers.
