Requirements

Must:
- Doctorate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience - Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience - Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline AND 5+ years of technical engineering experience - 12+ years of relevant technical engineering experience - Ability to meet Microsofts, customers, and/or governmental security screening criteria, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check during hiring and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

- Ensure the quality performance of products or supplier services - Collaborate with component manufacturers and server suppliers - Partner with internal teams and suppliers to assess performance, resolve technical challenges, and promote technical enhancements - Influence cross-functional partners and suppliers to ensure key performance indicators and metrics are achieved - Work to improve quality and yield metrics, process control, critical issue management, and risk analysis and reduction at both suppliers and data centers - Oversee product quality management from introduction through the end-of-life cycle - Manage quality risks by effectively containing, mitigating, and resolving significant quality issues affecting global data centers - Develop and implement a robust supplier quality management strategy to uphold the highest standards in data center hardware manufacturing - Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to devise strategies for continual product and process improvement - Provide support and management for spare quality continuity of supply.
