Requirements

Must:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with foundational knowledge of computer hardware and components - Minimum of 2 years experience supporting IT equipment or related technologies, or equivalent experience - Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening standards - Associates degree in computer science or a related field is a plus, along with 5+ years experience in IT support or relevant technology - 2+ years experience in a production, mission-critical, 24/7 datacenter environment is preferred - Relevant certifications such as CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+) are advantageous

Responsibilities

- Exhibit proficiency in standard processes for preparing, installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and decommissioning datacenter technologies while prioritizing security protocols - Offer guidance to peers on procedural changes and effectively communicate relevant updates to improve workflows - Complete assigned tasks in alignment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), assisting less experienced technicians as necessary and escalating complex issues - Adhere to Data Center policies while maintaining audit readiness and promptly identifying operational vulnerabilities - Foster a collaborative team environment by sharing insights and best practices, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication - Conduct daily safety briefings and oversee compliance with safety training and procedures, maintaining a proactive safety culture - Ensure completion of necessary training for job responsibilities and support the development of technicians through mentoring - Understand Data Center processes to optimize cooperation with stakeholders and support effective service delivery
