Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, System Engineering, or a related field, along with 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as Python, or equivalent experience.
- Masters Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, System Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field with 3+ years of experience working within a software engineering team or delivering production code, or equivalent experience (preferred).
- Over 4 years of experience with Python.
- At least 2 years of experience working on Generative AI infrastructure, products, or prototypes.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience architecting and implementing Generative AI systems or the necessary infrastructure for such systems.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining open-source projects. A link to your GitHub profile or code samples is highly encouraged.
- Experience in evaluating AI models and systems, including the creation of benchmark datasets, evaluation pipelines, execution and debugging of experiments, and tracking improvements.
- Experience in deploying or managing applications or infrastructure pipelines on major cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong collaborative and effective communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Contribute as a Research Software Engineer in AI Frontiers by partnering with researchers, engineers, and product teams to achieve research breakthroughs and bring concepts to life in globally used products and services.
- Design data, evaluation, and training frameworks for agentic models to efficiently utilize computers and tools, completing tasks in collaboration with both humans and other agents.
- Apply your system design expertise and understanding of both user-centered technologies and Generative AI to ensure efficient, high-quality execution and foster innovation in AI features.
- Collaborate with our Technical Program Management (PM) team to identify customer requirements and align with our research portfolio to develop convincing proof of concepts, enabling customers to capitalize on our innovations.
