Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Equivalent experience will also be considered
- Proven ability to tackle complex problems and collaborate across teams or organizations
- Must meet security screening criteria as set by Microsoft, customers, and/or government
- Required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years thereafter
- Preferred: Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 8+ years analysis in coding
- Alternatively, Bachelors Degree and 12+ years of experience in relevant programming languages
- Demonstrated technical leadership and communication skills across various teams
- Ability to utilize insights and metrics to drive product discovery and ensure long-term feature value
Responsibilities
- Define and implement a secure engineering system supply chain throughout the build, test, and release lifecycle
- Collaborate with centralized teams to meet new security and compliance requirements
- Work alongside feature teams and security teams to enhance user experience without compromising security
- Enhance reliability and customer trust by improving service incident detection, response, and resolution times
- Uphold Microsoft principles and values to effectively collaborate and drive results
- Develop and deliver high-quality, secure, well-tested, and maintainable code
- Navigate challenges to deliver work efficiently and iteratively to users
- Mentor fellow engineers and cultivate a culture of secure innovation while balancing rapid development with customer protection
