Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND over 6 years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C++, C#, or Java.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND over 8 years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C++, C#, or Java.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in shipping products and delivering reliable, scalable services.
- Current programming experience in your most recent role.
- Hands-on experience with asynchronous programming and handling concurrency (threads, tasks, futures, async/await).
- Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), and/or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Experience in developing database engines, query engines, and indexing solutions (columnar, full-text, vector) at scale.
- Knowledge of programming with CUDA and AI systems at scale.
- Background in live site operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or production support roles.
- Experience with Helm.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an individual contributor who demonstrates leadership capabilities and engages in hands-on coding in C++, C#, or Java.
- Effectively execute tasks independently even in uncertain situations.
- Lead the identification of dependencies and the creation of design documentation for products, applications, services, or platforms.
- Write efficient system-level code and debug distributed systems.
- Hold responsibility as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), mentoring engineers across various products/solutions, and monitoring system/product/service to address any degradation or interruptions.
