Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and at least 6 years of technical engineering experience in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsofts, customers, and/or governmental security screening requirements, which include passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years.
- Proof of eligibility to access export-controlled information, requiring verification of citizenship or residency through appropriate documentation.
- Over 10 years of experience in software development is preferred.
- Familiarity with common programming paradigms, including Object-Oriented and Functional.
- Leadership capabilities with a history of guiding small teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Experience with standard languages in industry like Python, TCL, Perl, C/C++, with a preference for Python.
- Capability to independently own, maintain, and drive complex software projects.
- Deep understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
- Experience managing multiple complex software projects across the entire software development lifecycle.
- Knowledgeable about silicon design tools, flows, and methodologies.
- Proficient in Azure environments, Azure Security, and DevOps principles.
- Experience with continuous integration systems.
- Expertise in computer architecture and CPU/SoC design fundamentals.
- Familiarity with design and verification execution flows and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a leader for the central CAD Software team which develops a unified tool stack for internal SoC and IP designs.
- Direct the technical strategy and implementation for CAD DevOps workflows, including CI/CD, cloud-based EDA environments, and automation frameworks.
- Advocate for software best practices within the CAD Software team.
- Collaborate closely with the CAD Hardware and Compute infrastructure teams.
- Create scalable software solutions and associated documentation for a large user community.
- Establish yourself as an expert in your field, partnering with the execution team.
- Engage with stakeholders across Microsofts Silicon groups to gather software requirements.
- Design, enhance, and integrate CAD flows and automation for organization-wide implementation.
