Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience with programming in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a similar field AND over 12 years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or a Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 15+ years of relevant technical experience.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and efficiently navigate through ambiguity.
- Experience in building and deploying machine learning or large language model applications at scale.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing vast embedding, retrieval, and ranking systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and architect large-scale memory and personalization systems for Copilot leveraging search, embeddings, retrieval, ranking, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Utilize your expertise in cross-product features, collaborating with key stakeholders to propel project and release plans across various teams.
- Assume responsibility as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), guiding engineers across different products/solutions, and monitor systems for any degradation or downtime.
- Actively pursue new insights and adapt to emerging trends and technical solutions that enhance product availability, efficiency, observability, and performance, while maintaining consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
- Enjoy and excel in a fast-paced, design-oriented product development cycle.
- Manage ambiguity effectively and eliminate obstacles to deliver solutions promptly and iteratively, ensuring successful user engagement.
- Reflect and promote our culture and values within the team.
