Requirements
Must:
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline AND at least 7 years of technical engineering experience OR a Bachelors Degree in the same fields AND at least 8 years of relevant engineering experience OR equivalent expertise.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening criteria.
- Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related area AND 5+ years of technical engineering experience OR equivalent.
- Proven experience in program management lasting 6 years.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams for 6 years.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable tools.
- Basic knowledge of network devices, peripherals, and Artificial Intelligence & Compute hardware.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset, flexible, self-motivated, and a problem-solver.
- Experience in analytics and metrics reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
Responsibilities
- Oversee comprehensive lab support for the SCHIE engineering teams at major sites and globally.
- Implement lab alignment, planning, and strategic initiatives to enhance SCHIE program success.
- Initiate lab process enhancements and activities including lab construction, procurement, inventory management, safety, security, and audits.
- Administer lab work scope, scheduling, risk management, budget, and vendor relations.
- Collaborate with engineering, management, finance, and additional support teams.
- Coordinate with fellow Lab TPMs across various SCHIE locations.
- Work alongside other departments within Microsoft to align lab operations and share resources.
- Maintain effective communication and ensure comprehensive lab documentation.
- Manage roadmap-to-lab capacity planning to guarantee program readiness.
- Supervise AI/compute rack preparations for lab implementations in alignment with key program milestones.
- Lead the establishment and expansion of new lab sites, including planning, operational readiness, and early support stabilization.
- Facilitate platform refresh and transition strategies across lab settings, aiming to minimize disruption.
- Navigate lab constraints and trade-offs through regular priority assessments and blocker reviews.
- Administer procurement strategies for essential lab equipment and infrastructure, ensuring timely acquisition and vendor oversight.
- Manage cross-location lab resource sharing and standardization to support geographic expansion and consistency.
- Enhance lab governance and readiness for audits through compliance-centric processes.
