Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND at least 6 years of hands-on engineering experience in programming languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent practical experience.
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline AND at least 8 years of technical engineering experience OR a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field AND a minimum of 12 years of engineering experience with relevant programming languages OR equivalent practical experience (preferred).
- Strong foundational knowledge in full-stack development, covering both front-end (React, TypeScript) and back-end systems.
- Proficiency in Python or similar languages for server-side development.
- Experience in developing scalable web APIs and services.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and a capacity to work quickly in loosely defined problem areas.
- A keen eye for excellent product experiences and a commitment to delivering impactful work.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement innovative experiences that transform the role of an AI companion.
- Develop functionalities across various modalities including voice, vision, text, and actions to create a seamless integration within Copilot.
- Manage features from initial concept to production, ensuring scalability throughout the process.
- Collaborate with applied AI researchers to integrate advanced model capabilities into user experiences.
- Rapidly deploy experiments, analyze user interactions, and refine experiences to evoke a sense of wonder.
- Work collaboratively across different teams to address challenges that encompass the entire product ecosystem.
