Requirements
Must:
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field AND 7+ years of technical engineering experience
- OR Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field AND 8+ years of technical engineering experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in a technical leadership role such as platform architect, software architect, validation architect, lead debug engineer, or similar industry leadership position.
- Profound understanding of contemporary server or datacenter architectures, including System on Chip features, virtualization technologies, and major architectural components like Memory Controllers, Central Processing Units, and Storage or Networking solutions tailored for Cloud or Datacenter infrastructures.
- Experience leading technical explorations into datacenter software solutions utilized in large-scale environments, datacenter infrastructure, data systems, cloud-native operating systems, or virtualization technologies.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Responsibilities
- Direct the development and application of comprehensive debug solutions for large-scale datacenter systems.
- Collaborate on projects with hardware, firmware, and software teams to facilitate root cause analysis.
- Take responsibility for effectively executing targeted defect reduction initiatives.
- Offer technical guidance on large-scale test content deployment methodologies.
- Lead the resolution of intricate issues grounded in both technical and business insights.
- Design top-tier at-scale debug techniques, testing strategies, and testing protocols for data center solutions.
- Address challenges related to mission-critical services and develop automation to enhance debug efficiency.
- Communicate efficiently with partners and stakeholders for planning and tracking initiatives, utilizing data insights.
- Represent and uphold our company culture and values.
