Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field - Minimum of 8 years of technical engineering experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Python (or equivalent experience) - Strong technical foundation in distributed systems, including service design, reliability, and operations - Experience in developing AI-driven experiences or agentic workflows prioritizing trust and quality - Practical knowledge in evaluation frameworks, experimentation, and telemetry tailored for AI applications - Proven capability in leading multiple teams or managers across complex product domains - Over 10 years of professional engineering experience, including at least 3 years in managing several engineering teams - History of delivering high-quality, customer-facing features with solid adoption and operational maturity - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to align stakeholders and clearly present trade-offs - Strong product judgment, understanding when outcomes are satisfactory and valuing simplicity over complexity

- Define and oversee the technical vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap for Calendar Scheduling while collaborating closely with product and senior leadership - Direct multiple teams focusing on essential scheduling functions, platform components, and comprehensive user outcomes - Ensure high quality in architecture and design, guaranteeing that solutions are scalable and maintainable, aligning with overarching strategy - Achieve measurable results through effective execution: setting clear objectives, planning milestones, managing risks, and ensuring accountability - Forge lasting cross-organization partnerships with related platform and experience teams (including clients, identity, policy, compliance, data, AI platform, etc.) - Implement quality assurance and evaluation standards: develop guardrails, success metrics, and methods for offline and online assessments - Maintain operational excellence by managing reliability, latency, incident readiness, and promoting continuous enhancement through observability and automation - Attract, develop, and retain talent, while nurturing an inclusive culture and mentoring leaders throughout the organization

This role involves overseeing teams that create an integrated scheduling solution aimed at simplifying the process of finding suitable meeting times, minimizing friction, and confidently finalizing arrangements.
