Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Alternatively, equivalent experience will be considered
- Minimum of 3 years in a people management role
- Preferred: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 10+ years of technical engineering experience or a Masters degree with 8+ years of experience
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience in people management
Responsibilities
- Hire, mentor, and supervise a team of software engineers to create secure, reliable, and scalable products
- Deliver AI-powered experiences that will influence user interactions with AI technology
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and product teams to prioritize features and provide a top-tier AI companion
- Write and review production-level code, ensuring quality, maintainability, and performance while setting high engineering standards
- Lead architectural discussions, creating proposals and design documents, ensuring solutions adhere to business, security, and compliance needs
- Establish and uphold comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring adequate coverage, automation, and scalable frameworks for continuous integration and deployment
- Drive the implementation of features and systems by breaking down long-term objectives into clear milestones, aligning with release schedules, and coordinating cross-team efforts
