Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline AND 6+ years of hands-on technical engineering experience in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python - Alternatively, equivalent experience may be considered. - A minimum of 3 years managing a proficient engineering team, focused on growth, nurturing talent, and hiring. - Ability to fulfill Microsoft and customer security screening requirements, including a Microsoft Cloud background check. - Preferred: Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field AND 8+ years of technical engineering experience. - Extensive experience with mobile, web, or desktop application development, particularly in C++, Objective-C, Swift, and JavaScript. - Planning and executing engineering projects with impactful outcomes for at least 3 years. - Experience in addressing customer feedback and enhancing product quality at scale for over 3 years. - Familiarity with AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and a culture of rapid exploratory development. - Experience in building high-quality native mobile applications with strong performance and platform integration. - Deep expertise in developing and optimizing native iOS apps using Swift and Objective-C. - Solid grasp of performance tuning, memory management, offline synchronization, concurrency, and system behavior on mobile devices. - Proven leadership experience in distributed and remote-friendly environments.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders (e.g., project manager, technical lead) to gather user requirements across various teams. - Lead teams in identifying dependencies and creating comprehensive design documents for products, applications, or platforms. - Optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to enhance performance, maintainability, and effectiveness. - Guide the team in managing project plans, release schedules, and work items while coordinating with relevant stakeholders. - Oversee engineers across product lines, including being on-call to monitor for system/product degradation or interruptions. - Ensure product development aligns with customer needs while applying appropriate techniques to meet scaling and performance objectives.
