Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with foundational knowledge of computer hardware and components OR equivalent experience
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud background check every two years
- Preferred: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with 3+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology OR equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Review Process Change Notifications (PCNs) to understand their impact on task execution and adapt to changes in workflows
- Complete assigned tickets promptly in compliance with relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), seeking assistance from senior technicians when needed
- Adhere to Data Center policies and escalate compliance-related issues to management while identifying potential operational security vulnerabilities
- Gain an understanding of standard processes for the preparation, installation, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of data center technologies
- Engage in daily safety briefings and complete required Environmental & Health Safety (EHS) training, promoting a culture of safety
- Undergo necessary security and data management training while enforcing security protocols during third-party vendor access
- Foster a collaborative team environment by sharing information and participating in regular meetings for smooth shifts transitions
- Be adaptable to working 12-hour shifts and travel requirements of up to 25% as necessary
