Microbe Formulas
Augusta Pointe Drive 905, Palm Beach Gardens
$115,000 - 135,000
Requirements
Must:
- We need 3+ years of experience in DevOps, technical operations, or release engineering, ideally within a DTC or e-commerce environment.
- We require proven ownership of a structured backlog management system such as Wrike, Jira, Linear, or a similar platform, with strong stage-gate discipline.
- We need hands-on Wrike administration experience, including custom statuses, automation logic, folder structures, and REST API integrations.
- We require fluency in RICE prioritization, CAB change classification, and sprint-based planning frameworks.
- We need Python scripting skills for API-driven operations and workflow automation.
- We require experience coordinating releases across multiple engineers, including peer review, UAT, staging and production deployments, and rollback procedures.
- We need a strong documentation mindset, with the ability to create and maintain runbooks, stage definitions, and process manuals.
- We strongly prefer experience with Shopify Plus or another comparable e-commerce platform, including app integrations, theme deployments, and API changes.
- We strongly prefer familiarity with Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Search Console from a technical administration standpoint.
- We strongly prefer exposure to Microsoft Entra ID, Autopilot, and MDM device management tools such as BEMO or similar.
- We strongly prefer experience working with MuleSoft, SAP Business One, or Salesforce integration ecosystems.
- We strongly prefer prior experience in health, wellness, or regulated consumer products companies.
Responsibilities
- We expect you to own key stages of our DevOps Playbook pipeline, including In Review and Committed, while maintaining strict process discipline.
- We expect you to co-score tasks with the CTO using the RICE framework before commitment decisions are made.
- We expect you to classify changes using our CAB model, including Standard, Normal, Normal with CTO Review, and Emergency categories.
- We expect you to break committed parent tasks into sprint-sized subitems and route them into the correct readiness, time-blocking, or design-blocking paths.
- We expect you to enforce completeness checks so tasks cannot advance without required metadata, business context, prioritization, and scoring.
- We expect you to manage icebox items carefully, including documenting blockers and resolution paths.
- We expect you to oversee the full sprint lifecycle from requirements gathering through planning, execution, review, testing, release readiness, deployment, and completion.
- We expect you to prioritize sprint work by urgency and RICE score, keeping the queue properly sequenced.
- We expect you to coordinate engineer assignments and track estimated hours against actual effort across active work items.
- We expect you to manage delayed work, maintain hold status, and escalate items that remain stalled beyond defined thresholds.
- We expect you to conduct technical peer review for qualifying change types during the review stage.
- We expect you to own release readiness, including deployment notes, rollback planning, change window scheduling, and stakeholder communications.
- We expect you to run production smoke tests after deployment and confirm system stability before marking work as released.
- We expect you to maintain rollback snapshots before grooming sessions and other high-risk activities.
- We expect you to enforce UAT sign-off requirements based on change classification.
- We expect you to configure and maintain Wrike automation, workflow rules, folder entry logic, and aging alerts.
- We expect you to maintain and expand our Python-based Wrike integration for reporting, task operations, and snapshot and rollback support.
- We expect you to manage Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Search Console deployments across our brands.
- We expect you to support Shopify app integrations, CI/CD health, and platform monitoring across our technology stack.
- We expect you to co-facilitate our weekly Monday backlog grooming session with the CTO and come prepared with the necessary data.
- We expect you to prepare pre-grooming snapshots, stage counts, and issue flags before each meeting.
- We expect you to maintain DevOps runbooks and stage-definition documentation in our GitHub repository.
- We expect you to produce weekly health reports covering pipeline counts, stale items, missing assignees, and status integrity issues.
- We expect you to own the post-mortem process and ensure completed work includes retrospective notes before archival.
