Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience with SQL programming for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Strong expertise in visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Familiarity with programming languages including Python, R, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) applied in data analysis tasks.
- Understanding of ETL processes and tools such as Talend or similar for data integration.
- Experience with database management systems like Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, with knowledge of database design principles.
- Ability to perform thorough business analysis by translating technical findings into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical capabilities with a keen eye for detail; confident in managing complex datasets.
Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and analyze data from a variety of sources utilizing SQL, Python, R, and ETL tools like Talend and VBA to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Create and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization platforms for clear and effective communication of insights.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in Agile project management environments to comprehend business needs and deliver timely data solutions in line with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Execute database design and optimization on platforms like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle to support scalable data storage solutions.
- Conduct business analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for process enhancements or new initiatives.
- Aid database integration efforts through linked data techniques and maintain high data quality standards.
- Document processes using Visio or similar tools to promote knowledge sharing and compliance.
