Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field required.
- Six years of experience leading business analysis on small to medium projects required.
- Strong leadership skills and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and product management abilities, with a solid understanding of converting customer needs into operational requirements.
- Knowledge of software design and architectural principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Atlassian products or similar project tools.
- Ability to engage professionally with diverse groups, including executives, managers, and project teams.
- Successful completion of three or more certifications in Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA), or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) preferred, or possession of a Masters or Associate Certificate in Business Analysis.
- Experience in the insurance sector is advantageous.
- Technical background and understanding of applications is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an internal consultant responsible for assessing business systems and identifying options for enhancement.
- Conduct thorough documentation and requirements elicitation using interviews, document reviews, workshops, and various analysis techniques.
- Convert high-level business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications via standards, use cases, mock-ups, and process diagrams.
- Evaluate existing system and data flows to pinpoint integration opportunities.
- Monitor requirements and modifications throughout a projects life cycle.
- Collaborate with data teams to address data implications from defined requirements.
- Assist data stewards in sustaining data dictionaries and enhancing data quality.
Description
