Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- A minimum of eight years of progressively responsible experience in application support, system administration, application development, or related technical areas, specifically with enterprise applications
- At least two system administrator certifications (such as Salesforce, Guidewire, Garvin-Allen, Profisee, etc.) or equivalent hands-on experience with similar enterprise platforms
- Three or more years of leadership experience in technology within the property/casualty or life insurance sector
- A commitment to pursuing ongoing training and education related to technology and insurance
- Preferred designations include AINS, FLMI, or AIDM, or in the process of obtaining them
Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical leadership and serve as the primary escalation point for complex and significant application incidents, outages, and performance challenges
- Lead and coordinate incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis (RCA) efforts to uncover systemic issues and deploy long-term corrective and preventive measures
- Ensure that application support services consistently meet or exceed defined service level agreements (SLAs) and operational performance objectives
- Mentor, coach, and enhance the skills of application support team members through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and professional growth opportunities
- Establish, document, and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical standards, and best practices to guarantee consistent, efficient, and high-quality support delivery
