Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience considered
- Minimum of 3 years in a role requiring cross-functional collaboration, process coordination, or teamwork
- Direct experience in IT Service Management preferred
- ITIL 4 Foundation or similar certifications strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage the major incident coordination process, ensuring timely and accurate communication with stakeholders
- Lead reviews of major incidents, documenting outcomes, identifying root causes, and monitoring corrective actions to completion
- Own the entire problem management process, analyze incident data for trends, manage known errors, and collaborate with technical teams to implement permanent solutions
- Monitor and oversee IT service queues, ensuring tickets are prioritized, appropriately handled, and progressing, intervening as necessary to maintain service levels
Description
We are responsible for developing and executing our IT Service Management function, ensuring reliable and consistent delivery of IT services. We coordinate major incidents, drive problem management, and maintain queue health to minimize disruptions to business operations. Our focus on continual service improvement includes building a strong knowledge management practice, developing data-driven reporting capabilities, and promoting a culture of informed decision-making. We collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to create and implement customer-focused processes. This is a hybrid position that allows for remote work from Michigan as well as in-office work at our Farm Bureau Home Office in Lansing.
